Feyre was born May 5th, 2021 in the rolling hills of Plummer Idaho. Feyre was our very first basset hound puppy. We instantly fell in love with her sweet personality and soulful eyes. Feyre has an amazing personality! Sometimes it is easy to forget the she is a basset hound and not a human! Her lineage can be traced all the way back to the original stock imported into the U.S. from England. As far as basset hounds go, she basically sets the standard. She has a gorgeous tri- color saddle tan coat. She has a gorgeous build. She has the agility and athleticism of the American Basset Hounds while also preserving the classic characteristics of the European Basset Hounds. She has a calm and loving personality. Feyre loves to play with children and to go on car rides. However, her favorite activity is sleeping on mom’s chair!

Siren Song (we call her Ryn for short) was also born in Plummer Idaho on April 7th, 2022. After our amazing experience with Feyre and the program she came from, we decided to go back to get another basset hound puppy from the same program. Ryn was an adorable puppy, her ears were bigger than her head and she was the runt of the litter! She was the smallest basset hound puppy I had ever seen! She grew quickly and has grown into a beautiful girl. Ryn has a special trait, she is our tri color blue dilute carrier. Ryn carries one copy of the blue dilute gene. Because of this, she can produce both dilute (blue) coat puppies and standard coat puppies as well. Ryn is a beautiful example of the American Basset Hound. Ryn is small in stature and lean, making her agile and less likely to develop the health issues of the heavier stature of European Basset Hounds. Ryn has allot of energy and would be wonderful for hunting or agility training.

Nebula is on of the newest addition to our basset hound family! Nebula is a black and white basset hound who carries blue, black and white, red and white, lemon and white, mahogany and white, and standard tri. Because of her unique genetics, we call her our “rainbow” puppy. Nebula is AKC registered. She is a gorgeous mix of the European Basset Hound line and the American Basset Hound line. She has a beautiful thick frame, while also retaining some of the American Basset Hound’s slender build. This will lead to greater health benefits and less strain on her small frame. Nebula also has a very mild and well rounded temperament. This is another benefit of her being an even mix of the European Basset Hound and the American Basset Hound.

Gamora is our newest basset hound puppy. She is a basset hound puppy we held back from a litter by Feyre and Drogo. Gamora is still a puppy so she spends her days learning, exploring and playing! She loves the trampoline and playing with everyone. When she isn’t playing, she can be found basking in the sun. Gamora has a gorgeous build and displays many of the European Basset Hound traits while also retaining an athletic build that will prevent the health issues that would come with a heavier build on her small frame! She is thick and has a wonderful frame. Her personality is very goofy and curious! We are enjoying watching this sweet girl grow up!

Omen is our newest puppy. We paired Bella with a male from Idaho named Riley Valiant. We paired these two together because of their unique coat colors and patters and more importantly their perfect genetics! We wanted the perfect genetics while also retaining the blue gene from Bella’s bloodline. This pairing did not disappoint! We selected Omen from the pairing to keep in our program to not only carry on the blue basset hound bloodline, but to strengthen the genetics in our program. Omen is spending time bonding with us and our other animals. He loves to play with our cat and with kids! He loves to play on the trampoline and go in for visits with his momma Bella! We are so excited to watch him grow and are very excited about this addition to our family and program!

Drogo is the patriarch of our entire breeding program. Drogo is a red and white basset hound. He carries one copy of the blue dilute gene, so he does not express the blue trait physically. This makes Drogo a very unique boy. He can produce both blue dilute and standard coat puppies depending on who he is paired with. Drogo came to us from Baggy Bassets https://www.baggybassets.com/ in Show Low Arizona. Drogo is dually registered with both the AKC and the CKC. Drogo is sixty two percent European Basset and thirty eight percent American Basset Hound, this means that he passes on many of the classic traits of the European Basset Hounds while also enjoying the health benefits of the American Basset Hounds. Drogo can be found running and playing or snuggling under my legs while napping.
Bella is the matriarch of our blue basset hound line. She is a blue tri color basset who also carries the mahogany color. This can be seen in the rich mahogany around her mask and down onto her ears. Bella is a calm, sweet girl who loves to cuddle. Bella can be found cuddling and snuggling her puppies often. When she isn't cuddling her puppies, she can be found snuggling on the couch with me or my daughter!!
We are excited to welcome 10 beautiful puppies from Siren Song (Ryn) and Riley Valliant! Born on June 19th!
